Conflux (noun) – /’konflu ks/ –
1. A gathering of many things, especially
forces or ideas. 2. A natural phenomenon
where two or more things come together,
such as rivers, streams, or forces.

From Latin confluxus, past participle of
confluere ‘to flow together’;
from con- ‘together’ + fluere ‘to flow’.
